Snehal Massey, Founder of SPM Law

Snehal Massey founded SPM Law to offer her clients a unique experience. Throughout her 10+ years of practicing family law, Snehal has gained a wealth of insight and learned that the lawyers you choose to represent you make all the difference in the outcome of your family court case. Snehal also realized that family law does not need to exhaust valuable and scarce resources, such as time, energy, and finances.

Snehal first developed this belief about the practice of family law while serving as a law clerk in the courtroom of the Hon. Ronald A. Silkworth (Ret.). Clerking for an associate judge on the Anne Arundel County, Maryland Circuit Court meant busy dockets full of family law cases. In her year there, she intimately observed how attorneys can help – or hinder – a client’s case. She left her clerkship knowing that being a client-centered advocate was the only way she would be happy as an attorney.

Since then, Snehal has purposefully focused on resolving her clients’ family law and family law-related matters. She has worked as an associate at two prominent family law firms in the Baltimore, Maryland, area. In 2019, she argued a case in the Court of Special Appeals, resulting in a published opinion by the intermediate appellate court. She relishes the moments she gets called to serve as Maryland’s Best Interest Attorney, Child Privilege Attorney, and Child Advocate Attorney. Since then, her peers have recognized her tenacious efforts to improve Maryland’s family law. She has been honored to be included in the Rising Stars list, an exclusive list of top-rated attorneys selected following a thorough evaluation.
